Horned Frogs have shutout the Texans in the teams’ last two meetings
FORT WORTH – TCU equestrian will host Tarleton in an exhibition meet at 9 a.m. on Thursday at Bear Creek Farms.
The meet marks the third time the Horned Frogs and Texans will have gone head-to-head in the season opener. The Horned Frogs have commenced the last two seasons with a shutout of Tarleton, 16-0 and 12-0, respectively.
The Horned Frogs return seven of the eight athletes who garnered All-American credentials last season. Leading the charge on this year's roster are 2022-23 NCEA Horsemanship Rider of the Year, Jessica McAllister, 2022-23 NCEA Reigning Rider of the Year, Mattie Dukes and 2022-23 NCEA Co-Flat Rider of the Year, Ashleigh Scully.
LOOKING AHEAD

TCU then jets to California on Oct. 20 for another Big 12 meet, this time opposite Fresno State. The monthlong road swing concludes with a doubleheader in Martin, Tennessee vs. UT Martin and Georgia on Oct. 27-28..
TCU concludes the fall at home on Nov. 10 with a Big 12 tilt against Baylor. The spring portion of the NCEA season begins in January.
