Frogs Compete on Day One of NCAA West First Round

The women’s prelims begin tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. CT.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – TCU wrapped up the first day of the NCAA West First Round at Hornet Stadium at Fred Anderson Field.
In the men's 200m, Simbarashe Maketa narrowly missed Friday's quarterfinals, coming in 27th overall with his time of 21.02. Donnie James clocked a 21.24 to place 37th overall.
Maketa was also TCU's highest finisher in the 400m, finishing 36th with his time of 46.71. James finished right behind him, finishing 37th at 46.73. David Seete's time of 47.22 was good for 43rd.
