
Morris, Men's 4x400 Garner Bronze on Final Day of Big 12 Championships

A total of 11 Horned Frogs earned spots on the podium
NORMAN, Okla. – A total of 10 individuals garnered podium finishes on the final day of the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.
Gracie Morris garnered bronze in the 1500m as she clocked a time of 4:19.61 to take third. Morris ran the third-fastest time in the prelims to advance to the finals.
Also notching a third-place finish was the men's 4x400 team. Ethan Brown, Donnie James, David Seete and Ryan Jordan ran a season-best 3:03.92 to garner bronze.
In the men's triple jump, three Frogs earned spots on the podium. Theophilus Mudzengerere placed fourth at 15.60m (51' 2.25") and Damilare Olukosi took sixth at 15.15m (49' 8.50"). Patrick Sylla rounded out the top eight with his eighth-place finish of 15.01m (49' 3.0").
Also earning fourth was Simbarashe Maketa in the 400m. Running a new personal-best of 45.22 in the prelims, Maketa matched his prelims time and finished fourth in the finals at 45.22. The time is currently No. 13 in the Division I this season.
Iyana Gray took sixth in both the 100m (11.25) and the 200m (23.32) to earn two podium finishes for TCU. In the women's 800m, Jasmin Muhammad-Graham also took sixth with her time of 2:07.31.
Both 4x100 teams finished fifth. On the women's side, Rachel Hall, Gray, Samarra Monrroy and Dreunna Washington ran a season-best 44.57 to earn a podium finish. Jais Smith, Donnie James, Maketa and Clinton Muunga clocked a season-best 39.60 on the men's side.
Monrroy also took seventh in the women's 400m with her time of 53.67. In the men's pole vault, Benjamin Kirbo improved on his No. 3 mark in school history and placed seventh with an outdoor personal-best height of 5.01m (16' 5.25").
Samantha Callaway earned an eighth-place spot on the podium in the women's discus. She threw 50.27m (164' 11") for her first Big 12 podium finish.
The women's team finished with 43 points, the second most points for the Horned Frogs at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships on the women's side since joining the Big 12.
