Gray becomes TCU's first women's 100m champion at the Penn Relays
PHILADELPHIA – Iyana Gray and the men's 4x400 squad were crowned Penn Relays Champions on the final day of the 2023 Penn Relays.
Gray clocked an 11.50 to take first in the women's 100m dash, becoming the first ever TCU women's 100m champion at the Penn Relays. She advanced to the finals with the third-fastest time in the prelims (11.71).
In the 4x400 relay, the team of Ethan Brown, Donnie James, David Seete and Ryan Jordan brought home TCU's first 4x400 Penn Relays victory since 2008. The four clocked a time of 3:04.41 to take first.
The 4x100 squad of Dreunna Washington, Gray, Samarra Monrroy and Emma Seetoo ran a time of 45.17 to finish sixth in the finals.
