TCU Sits Third After Day 1 of Big 12 Championship

DALLAS – TCU women's golf freshman Sheridan Clancy led the Horned Frogs with a score of even-par 72 in the first round of the Big 12 Championship at the Dallas Athletic Club in Dallas, Texas.
Clancy is tied for fourth place, carding a career-best six-birdies in the first round. It was the second-most birdies among the field of 45. Fellow freshman Sofia Barroso Sa had a prolific day on the course, recording 10-straight pars to start the round as well two-birdies to put her tied for seventh place. Lois Lau is tied for 11th place, carding a 2-over 74. Caitlyn Macnab is tied for 26th place, carding a 4-over 76.
TCU, who will be paired with Oklahoma State and Texas Tech in Round 2, will tee-off at 10 a.m. on hole No. 1. Each trio of golfers will tee off every 10 minutes.
