
Juszczyk Breaks Javelin School Record

The sophomore won her section of the women's javelin on Day Two of the Texas Relays
AUSTIN, Texas – Sydney Juszczyk shattered her personal-best and set a new school record on Day Two of the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Thursday night.
Juszczyk set her new standard of 50.62m (166' 1") on her fifth attempt during the javelin competition. It's the first time in her collegiate career she has cleared 50m.
In the women's 1500m, Gracie Morris finished second overall and first among collegiate athletes with her time of 4:19.23.
In their first collegiate 10,000m races, Mariana Martinez and Noah Winters both ran top 10 times in school history. Martinez (36:18.26) finished third overall and ran the seventh-fastest time in program history, while Winters (31:39.11) clocked the fifth-fastest time in school history and placed 11th overall.
Stone Burke ran the eighth-fastest time in school history in the 5,000m (14:46.93) and finished 11th. Jasmin Muhammad-Graham placed 12th overall in the women's 800m competition with her time of 2:09.74.
