EUGENE, Ore. – TCU track and field looks to cap off the 2026 season on a high note at the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 10-13. The Horned Frogs will be represented by seven student-athletes competing at the four-day meet at Hayward Field.
Jayden Douglas is back at nationals for the second year in a row in the 400m hurdles. The junior turned in a gutsy performance to qualify at the West First Round, lunging across the finish line two-hundredths ahead of the next closest runner. The Big 12 Champion and school record holder in the event, Douglas has a lot left in the tank and plenty to prove in Eugene.
Irene Jepkemboi, the back-to-back-to-back Big 12 javelin champion, will compete in her third NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. At the regional meet, she launched her throw 53.84m (176-8) to finish fifth overall and punch her ticket. Last season, she was the NCAA bronze medalist in the event.
Indya Mayberry is set to compete in the 100m dash. Last season, she raced the straightaway sprint at the national championship meet, earning Second Team All-American honors. Just a sophomore, she looks to add another set of honors to her name and cap off a strong outdoor season.
Georgia Scott rounds out the Frogs individual list of competitors in Oregon. A first-time qualifier, she is coming off one of the best races of her career in Fayetteville where she turned in a school record 2:01.54 to finish third in her heat and seventh overall in the field. Not afraid of the big stage, she looks to shine among the nation's best middle-distance runners in the track and field capital of the U.S.
The women's 4x100m will also represent TCU on the track. Na'Taja Ballard, Bailey Johnson, London Tucker and Mayberry are slated to run for the Frogs. They come into the meet with a 42.91 season best that ranks 14th nationally this year.
The 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships features the top 24 athletes in each event from the Division I level. Athletes will look to finish in the top-nine to advance to the finals and vie for a national title and All-American honors in their respective events.
Competition at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championship begins on Wednesday, June 10, and runs through Saturday, June 13. The full meet schedule can be found here.
