
TCU Wins Eight Events on Final Day of Clyde Hart Classic

Jade Ferrell breaks school record in the high jump
WACO, Texas – TCU garnered eight event wins on Day Two of the Clyde Hart Classic.
Highlighting the day was Jade Ferrell, who notched her first collegiate win in the high jump. She set a school record and a new personal-best with her height of 1.73m (5' 8.0").
Also earning a win was Gavin Champ in the triple jump. He recorded a massive personal-best and tied the fifth farthest mark in Division I this season with his leap of 15.66m (51' 4.50").
The Horned Frogs swept the 800m. In the women's 800m, Gracie Morris earned her second win of the weekend with her time of 2:06.38, the sixth fastest time in Division I this season. Jasmin Muhammad-Graham finished second with her career-best time of 2:07.15, putting her at ninth in the country.
On the men's side, Ryan Martin ran a personal-best time of 1:50.52 to win the race. Adding another win to the distance squad's weekend was Mariana Martinez who placed first overall in the women's 3000 with a personal-best time of 9:43.73. Peyton McQuillan (9:56.12) and London Culbreath (10:22.65) took second and third, respectively.
Iyana Gray notched her second win of the season in the 100m with her time of 11.38. She was also part of the winning 4x100 relay team, along with Rachell Hall, Samarra Monrroy and Emma Seetoo, that clocked a 44.67.
The men's 4x40 squad ended the day strong, earning its second win of the outdoor season. The team of David Seete, Donnie James, Simbarashe Maketa and Ryan Jordan clocked a 3:06.28, the fourth-fastest time in the country this season.
In the men's 400m, James placed second with his time of 46.49. Coming in third was Seete (47.19). Noah Winters placed second overall (8:31.92) in the men's 3000m.
