
Seete Garners Silver on Final Day of Big 12 Championships

Seete, Anigbata both earn top three finishes
LUBBOCK, Texas – Behind two stellar performances from David Seete and Grace Anigbata, TCU wrapped up its second day at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
Seete clocked a personal-best 1:08.83 in the 600 yard finals, garnering him a silver medal.
Also adding a top finish was Anigbata, who jumped 13.16m (43-2.25) in the triple jump finals. Her first jump was all it took for her to earn a bronze medal.
In the women's 60m, Iyana Gray ran a 7.30 in the finals to finish fifth. She ran a personal-best 7.29 in the prelims to advance.
Gray also was a finalist in the women's 200m where she ran 23.12 to place seventh. On the men's side, Donnie James' time of 20.92 earned him a sixth place finish in the 200m finals.
TCU shined in the triple jump, taking two podium spots. Theophilus Mudzengerere claimed fifth with his jump of 15.79m (51-9.75), while Patrick Sylla finished eighth with his leap of 14.95m (49-0.75).
In the 4x400 relay, both TCU teams earned their way to a top-eight finish. The men's team of James, Ryan Jordan, Seete and Destin Drummond ran a 3:08.98 to finish sixth, while the women's team of Samarra Monrroy, Tatianna Martinez, Lailah White and Dreunna Washington took seventh with their time of 3:38.91.
Jasmin Muhammad-Graham took seventh overall in the women's 8-00m, finishing with her time of 2:09.87.

The NCAA Indoor Championships are set for March 10-11 in Albuquerque, N.M. Additionally, members of both teams will compete at the Longhorn Invite on March 4 in Austin, Texas.
