Lau has a team-leading seven birdies in the tournament
ALBANY, NEW PROVIDENCE, BAHAMAS – TCU women's golf freshman Sofia Barroso Sa shot a 4-over 76 to lead the Horned Frogs on Day 2 of the Nexus Collegiate held at the Albany Championship Golf Course.
Barroso Sa added 11-pars and 1-birdie to her scorecard and is 9-over for the tournament and heads into tomorrow's final round tied in 31st place.
Junior Lois Lau also found success, carding 11-pars and 2-birdies for 5-over 77 which has her tied for 25th place heading into the final round.
Caitlyn Macnab posted an 8-over 80 in Round 2 and is tied for 35th place among all competitors. Sabrina Nguyen shot a 9-over 81 to share 53rd place. Trinity King posted a 15-over 87.
Competing as an individual, and playing in her second collegiate event, Sheridan Clancy carded a 13-over 85 for Round 2.
The Horned Frogs return to action tomorrow for the final round of the Nexus Collegiate. Round three will feature a shotgun start at 6:45 a.m. with the Horned Frogs teeing off on holes 10-16
