
Horned Frogs Down Two Top-10 Programs

TCU wins double-header in Tennessee
FORT WORTH – The No. 1 TCU equestrian team clinched two wins in Friday's doubleheader against No. 5 Georgia and No. 10 UT Martin at the Graves Equestrian Stables. The Horned Frogs move to 5-0 to start the season for the first time since 2010.
Ashleigh Scully collected three Most Outstanding Performer honors on the day, Giorgia Medows and Mattie Dukes both earned MOP honors in Horsemanship.
AGAINST NO. 10 UT MARTIN
TCU began the day with a 12-7 victory over the host team, UT Martin. The Frogs jumped out to an early lead with a sweep in Horsemanship. This was the second 5-0 win in a row and fourth win of the season for the unit. Payton Boutelle earned the first point of the day for the Horned Frogs with a 73.5 on Winnie. Shea Graham had her first of four wins on the day topping her UT Martin opponent 75.5-73. Reigning NCEA Horsemanship Rider of the Year, Jessica McAllister rode her way to a 74.5 on Bay Mo. Earning the MOP in the event was Medows who shined on Moreda scoring a 77. Bringing home the event was Dukes who edged her opponent by half a point, 76.5-76, on Luke.
Action shifted to the Fences arena where the Frogs and Skyhawks tied the event 2-2. Earning points for TCU was Scully and Ella Bostwick. Scully earned her first MOP of the season with an 85-83.5 on Zazu. Bostwick evens her season record in the event to 2-2 with an 83 on Doug.
After a short break the action began in the western arena where UT Martin topped TCU 3-2 in Reining. Graham stayed undefeated in the event with a 68.5-67 win on Sarge. Lannie-Jo Lisac had her first win of the season with a 68 on Scarlet.
The meet concluded in the Flat arena where TCU won the event 3-2. Alexandra Lipacis had her second win this season with an 81-76 win on Rose. Lilly Goldstein continues to dominate for the Horned Frogs with her fourth win in a row on the Flat (81-80). Scully completed the sweep of the Jumping Seat MOPs with the highest score of the event (88) on Pork Chop.

TCU geared up against the University of Georgia for the first time since the 2021 NCEA National Championship quarterfinals and edged out the win 8-7. The Reining unit was the first to earn a point for the Horned Frogs. Graham stayed undefeated on the day with a 70-67.5 win on Tia.
In the Flat arena Scully shined for the Frogs earning her third MOP of the day and first in the event this season with a season high, 90, on Finn. Goldstein stays undefeated in the event with an 87-86 win on Doug.
The Horsemanship team stays undefeated on the season with their third sweep of the season taking down the Bulldogs 4-0. Medows led the event out of the gates with a 76 on Hank. Dukes earned her third MOP this season in the event after taking down her opponent 75-73. Graham completed her undefeated day edging her opponent by a half point 73.5-73 on Jim. McAllister stays undefeated in the event this season with a 75-72.5 victory on Dreamy.
The marathon of a day ended in the Fences arena where Scully earned the deciding point for the Horned Frogs with an 83 on Pickles. Bostwick pushed her point against Georgia's Tessa Brown with an 85 on Finn.
UP NEXT
The undefeated Frogs will have two weeks off before hosting No. 8 Baylor at KSM Bear Creek Farms on Nov. 10. for its third Big 12 matchup of the season.
