
Preview: Frogs Hit the Road for Two Matchups

No. 1 TCU set to take on No. 5 Georgia and No. 10 UT Martin
FORT WORTH – The No. 1 TCU equestrian team is headed north to Martin, Tenn. for two top-10 matchups against No. 5 Georgia and No. 10 UT Martin at the Graves Equestrian Stables.
The Horned Frogs will open the weekend on Friday at 9 a.m. against UT Martin, followed by a half-meet against Georgia at 3:15 p.m. where the teams will compete in Flat and Reining only. The final two events will take place on Saturday at 9 a.m.
TCU was named the No. 1 NCEA dual discipline team for the fifth consecutive week for the first time in program history on Tuesday. The program is undefeated this season having taken down SMU, Oklahoma State and most recently, Fresno State. The Frogs trumped the Bulldogs 15-5 on Oct. 20 and claimed two Most Outstanding Performer honors.

The Frogs took down No.10 UT Martin, 9-6, in Dover, Del. on Oct. 13, 2022. Giorgia Medows highlighted the meet bringing home both the Horsemanship and Reining MOP's 77-73.5 and 73-72.5, respectively. TCU was victorious after winning Fences 3-1, Horsemanship 2-1 and tying Flat and Reining 2-2.
Last Time Out vs Georgia
TCU will face No. 5 Georgia for the first time since the 2021 NCEA National Championship Quarterfinals where the Frogs came out on top 12-8. The Bulldogs claimed both the Fences and Horsemanship events that day in the first half. TCU came back in the second half to win Flat and Reining 4-1 and to take down the reigning National Champions.
