Competing for TCU
More than half of TCU's 2023-24 roster is set to compete, as Helena Narmont, Isabel Pascual, Margaret Polk and Yu-Chin Tsai are all entered in both singles and doubles. Narmont and Tsai are entering their second straight season as primary doubles partners. Polk played doubles alongside Narmont in TCU's first fall tournament at the Battle in the Bay Classic on Sept. 21-24.
Pascual leads TCU in doubles victories (seven) with partner Destinee Martins. The senior is tied with Tsai with second-most singles wins of any Horned Frog behind a 4-4 record. She collected two singles victories at the Battle in the Bay Classic and one apiece at the SMU Invitational and ITA Texas Regional.
Tsai has been one of TCU's most consistent performer six weeks into the fall season. She most recently received the No. 14 seed in the ITA Texas Regional, where she picked up an opening round win at the expense of North Texas' Carolina Laydner, 6-2, 6-0.
Narmont enters the tournament riding a round of 64 straight set singles win at the ITA Texas Regionals.
The TCU Invitational represents Polk's third fall tournament.
Individual champions for both singles and doubles will be awarded based on overall tournament records.
