Horned Frogs looks to finish the fall season strong.
FORT WORTH – TCU is set to tee off for the final time in 2023.
The Horned Frogs are headed to San Marcos to compete in the Jim West Invitational at Kissing Tree Golf Club on Oct. 22-23.
TCU is no stranger to the Jim West Invitational, having notched top-10 finishes in 2021 and 2022. The Horned Frogs claimed a silver medal two seasons ago.
Lois Lau looks to be the Horned Frogs' top performer in south central Texas. Eight of her nine completed rounds have been even or under-par this fall. She ranks third in program history in career birdies.
TCU is leaving its lineup unchanged from its first pair of tournaments. Joining Lau in San Marcos are Sofia Barroso Sa, Meagan Winans, Sofie Dimitrova and Sheridan Clancy.
THE COURSE – Kissing Tree Golf Club – Par 72 – 6,010 Yards
Designed by local Texan Gary Stephenson, Kissing Tree Golf Club has served southwest Texas as the only semi-private 18-hole course to be built in the last five years. Set in the Hill Country, Kissing Tree offers elevation changes mixed with natural character of the Texas landscape. Part of the Audubon International Program, Kissing Tree preserves and highlights the native environment.

The 54-hole affair begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday. Teams will play two rounds before playing the final 18 holes on Monday. The Horned Frogs will tee off on holes No. 11-15 alongside Cal Poly and SMU.
