
Barroso Sa Leads TCU on Day Two

MEDINAH, Ill. – Sofia Barroso Sa jumped 14 spots on the Illini Invitational leaderboard on Tuesday to highlight TCU's showing on the final day of action at Medinah Country Club.
Barroso Sa carded three birdies and netted TCU's top individual score at one-over (71). The Portugal native tied for 47th behind a 54-hole score of 222 (plus-six).
Lois Lau matched the sophomore's birdie tally on the day. She concluded the two-day affair as TCU's No. 1 performer for the second consecutive tournament. Lau forced a tie for 27th place after shooting a one-over (217). A senior, Lau has finished even-or-under par in eight of nine rounds this fall.
Meagan Winans added two birdies to her scorecard amidst a fierce, competitive field. The Richardson, Texas native tied Barroso Sa at 6-over (222).
Sofie Dimitrova finished 22-over (238) while Sheridan Clancy finished 28-over (244) at Medinah.
TCU placed 14th out of 15 teams.
