FORT WORTH – TCU fell to No. 18 Iowa State 75-35 on Wednesday night at Schollmaier Arena. Aaliyah Roberson led the Horned Frogs with nine points.
The Rundown
Iowa State jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Tomi Taiwo scored a driving layup to get the Horned Frogs on the board. TCU later went on a 6-0 scoring run with back-to-back layups from Bre'Yon White to cut the lead to 15-8. After ending the first quarter up 20-10, Iowa State never looked back and led throughout the rest of the game.
Iowa State's defense limited TCU to six field goals in the final two quarters of play. The Cyclones also capitalized on TCU's 19 turnovers, scoring 23 points off the miscues.
Aaliyah Roberson led TCU with nine points. Bella Cravens and Bre'Yon White each had a team-leading six rebounds.
