Mike Miles 23 points leads Frogs to largest win over Sooners
FORT WORTH - No. 11 TCU never trailed in a 79-52 win over Oklahoma in front of a capacity crowd Tuesday at Schollmaier Arena.
Mike Miles Jr. scored 17 of his game-high 23 points in the first half to set the tone in the Horned Frogs' (16-4, 5-3) largest win ever over the Sooners (11-9, 2-6).
An announced attendance of 8,145 was the second-largest crowd ever for a TCU home game. Those in attendance witnessed the Horned Frogs' best start to a season in 25 years.

TCU began the game with an 11-0 run, setting the pace on defense with by forcing four turnovers and holding the Sooners to zero points in the first five minutes. The Frogs were perfect from the free throw line in the first half (13-of-13) thanks to a 10-of-10 effort from Miles. TCU was 5-of-10 from three in the first half and led 44-27 at the break.
The Frogs began the second half like the first, on an 11-0 run. OU's first points game nearly seven minutes into the period. TCU built its biggest lead of 31 on four occasions before winning by 27.
Damion Baugh scored 13 points and led the Frogs with five assists. Micah Peavy returned after missing the last four games with a back injury to score 13 points and added a season-high nine rebounds.
Up next, TCU will play at Mississippi St. in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Starkville, Miss. The game will be available on ESPN2.
