Sophomore posts fourth top-15 finish
SUPERSTITION MOUNTAIN, Ariz. – TCU women's golf sophomore Caitlyn Macnab shot a 2-under 70 to lead the Horned Frogs at the Match in the Desert held at the Superstition Mountain Golf Course.
TCU fired a 7-over 295 in the lone round of the tournament. UCLA and Arizona State tied for the top spot with an 11-under 277.
For the fourth time this season, Macnab posted a top-15 finish as she tied for 11th among all competitors. Lois Lau and Sofia Barroso Sá tied for 26th with a 2-over 74. Trinity King carded a 5-over 77 and in her collegiate debut, Sheridan Clancy shot an 8-over 80.
Competing as an individual, Sabrina Nguyen turned in a 3-over 75 to finish tied for 30th.
The Horned Frogs return to action Feb. 13-15 at the Nexus Women's Collegiate in Nassau, Bahamas.
