Tomi Taiwo had a team-leading 13 points
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tomi Taiwo scored a team-high 13 points in TCU's 64-48 loss to Kansas State on Saturday night in Bramlage Coliseum.
The Rundown
The Horned Frogs made the first shot of the game from a Tomi Taiwo 3-pointer, giving TCU a 3-0 lead with 8:54 remaining in the first quarter. After being up 3-0, Kansas State ended the first quarter on a 15-4 run to take a 15-7 lead after the first 10 minutes.
Trailing by 17 at half, the Frogs outscored the Wildcats in the second half 32-31. In the fourth quarter alone, TCU outshot Kansas State .462 to .263 from the field.
One of TCU's best scoring chances came in the third quarter. With jumpers from Aaliyah Roberson and Mariah Roberts, TCu cut the lead to just 11 points with less than a minute left in the third quarter.
Taiwo led the Frogs with 13 points while Bella Cravens had a team-leading 10 rebounds.
