Dive to Compete Against 19 Teams; Swim in Hawaii
TCU Dive is headed to Los Angeles, CA for the Bruin Diving invite at the Spieker Aquatics Center from Friday trough Sunday, Jan. 13-15. The swim team will compete in a dual meet against the Rainbow Warriors on Friday, Jan. 13 in the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
TCU Swim will begin competition at 12 p.m. HT/ 4 p.m. CT.
For dive, the competition will begin at 10:30 a.m. each day of competition. The diving invite will feature 19 different programs across the country.

TCU Swim and Dive is coming off impressive performances in Hawaii where they swept the Big 12 weekly awards. Piotr Sadlowski and Olivia Rhodes each took home swimmer of the week awards while Peter Horton and Lauren Cey earned newcomer of the week honors. Lastly, Alec Hubbard and Anna Kwong wrapped up the conference awards winning men's and women's Diver of the Week.
The swim team won gold in 11 events during the meet in Hawaii, highlighted by Sadlowski and Rhodes.
Rhodes wrapped up the honors for the Frogs with a first-place swim in the 50-yard freestyle. In the 200 medley relay, her final leg edged the Frogs to a second-place finish (1:45.07). She set the pace in the 200 freestyle relay leading the Frogs to second place (1:36.10). Sadlowski won each of his three events in Hawaii. His efforts in the 200 medley relay earned the Frogs a first-place finish in the event. He also swam as the third leg in the frogs' first-place team in the 400 freestyle relay. Individually, he swam a first-place time in the 100 fly. (49.01).
The dive team is coming off a dominate meet in Hawaii. Alec Hubbard's efforts on the 1-meter (339.00) and 3-meter (356.85) boards earned him Big 12 men's diver of the week honors, his first of the season. Freshman Lauren Cey earned women's Big 12 newcomer of the week honors, diving a score of 275.78 on the 1-meter. Anna Kwong won her third women's diver of the week award of the season. The sophomore won the 1-meter with a score of 319.88 and 3-meter (323.03) by over 27 points. In total, the dive team earned nine Zone cuts on the boards.
