
TCU Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule

TCU will play six matches against 2021 NCAA Tournament Teams
FORT WORTH – TCU head coach Eric Bell has announced the 2022 women's soccer schedule. The 18-game schedule features nine home matches and nine road contests. Last season, the Horned Frogs took home their second consecutive Big 12 regular season championship as well as the tournament title and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
TCU kicks off the season with a three-game homestand beginning Aug. 18 against a Wisconsin squad that advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in 2021. Minnesota will be the second Big Ten school to visit Garvey-Rosenthal that week as the Golden Gophers make their way to Fort Worth on Aug. 21. The homestand concludes Aug. 25 against 2021 NCAA Final Four participant Santa Clara.
The Frogs head to UTRGV for the first road match of the season Aug. 28. A trip to Los Angeles follows for a match at USC on Sept. 1. The Trojans advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
Duke, an Elite Eight team in 2021, makes a trip to campus Sept. 4 before TCU hits the road for a pair of games. First up is Texas A&M on Sept. 8 followed by a match at Texas State on Sept. 11. The Frogs wrap up the non-conference schedule hosting 2021 NCAA Tournament participant Harvard on Sept. 17.
TCU opens Big 12 play against Texas on Sept. 22. Following the Longhorns, the Frogs continue conference play with a trip to Kansas (Sept. 25) and Kansas State (Sept. 30).
West Virginia travels to Fort Worth for an Oct. 6 contest against the Frogs. Later that week, TCU hosts Iowa State on Oct. 9.
The Frogs will hit the road for a three-game road trip beginning at Oklahoma State on Oct. 13, followed by Oklahoma (Oct. 20) and Baylor (Oct. 23). The final game of the season sees the Frogs hosting Texas Tech on Oct. 27.
For the second straight year, the Big 12 Tournament will be played in Round Rock, Texas. The first round begins Oct. 30 with the semifinals set for Nov. 3. The championship game will be Nov. 6.
