FROG FOCUS
This is the third-career appearance in the NCAA Individual singles tournament for Aguilar and his first as a Horned Frog. His best-career result in this event came back in 2019, when he reached the second round. Fomba will be playing in his second NCAA Singles tournament after reaching the Round of 16 last season.
TCU has never had an NCAA individual singles national champion. Cameron Norrie (2016) and Alex Rybakov (2019) own the best individual results at this tournament in program history, each reaching the semifinals.
Fearnley will make his NCAA Individual debut tomorrow in the doubles event, paired with Fomba as the No. 1 overall seed. Fomba reached the Round of 16 with Alastair Gray last season in his first attempt at the title.
TCU legends David Pate and Karl Richter stand as the only NCAA individual National Champions in program history when they took the title in 1980. Two pairings have reached the final with Ashley Fisher and Jason Weir-Smith finishing as runners-up in the 1996 tournament.
