The Horned Frogs are ready to shine at the Big 12 Championships
FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs are ready to shine in the postseason at the Big 12 Championships in Morgantown, WV from Feb. 23-26.

Last Season's Success
TCU's women's team scored 528 points at last year's Big 12 Championships, tying the best performance at the conference meet with the 2012-13 and 2019-20 squads. TCU's men also notched third.
Janis Silins looks to have a strong showing again this year after earning silver in the 100 and 200 breast at the Big 12 Championships. Six of TCU's seven NCAA B cuts return in Noah Cumby (100, 200 free), Stefan Varga (100 back), Hugh McPherson (100 breast), Piotr Sadlowski (100, 200 fly), Janis Silins (100, 200 breast) and Ashleen O'Brien (100 back).
NCAA Cuts
So far this season, 11 different Frogs have recorded 31 NCAA "B" Cuts. Geremia Freri has seven B cuts this season (500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle and 400 IM) while Silins has six (100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke).
Milan Fabian and Sadlowski each have three B cuts this season, with Fabian's coming in the 500 and 1650 freestyles and Sadlowski's in the 100 fly. Raphael Paiva Da Lima picked up a B cut in the 50 freestyle and Cumby has one as well in the 100 freestyle.
On the women's side, Rylee Moore, Claire Chahbandour and Sheridan Schreiber have all recorded NCAA B cuts. At the Art Adamson Invitational, Moore's school record-breaking time of 53.71 in the 100 backstroke earned herself her fourth B cut of the season in the event. Chahbandour's school record time of 1:01.47 gave her the first B cut of the season in the event for her and Schreiber also got a B cut in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.59.
On the boards, the TCU divers have notched 48 total Zone cuts this season and look to have a successful week at the conference meet.
School Records
The Frogs have had immense success this season rewriting the TCU record books as 22 school records have been broken this season.
Most recently. Alec Hubbard broke the school record on platform with a score of 377.03. For long course records, Freri broke the record in the 400 freestyle with a time of 3:56.01 and both the 400 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay LCM records fell.

Since the start of the season, the Horned Frogs have earned 20 Big 12 weekly awards.

Success on the Global Stage
David Ekdahl competed at the FINA World Junior Diving Championships and Jadon Wuilliez swam at the FINA World Swimming Championships.
Ekdahl, who dove for Team Sweden, placed third in the Mixed Team event, finishing only behind Russia and Italy. He also qualified and placed ninth in the Group A Boys 1-meter final with a score of 413.35.
At the FINA World Swimming Championships, Wuilliez broke four Antigua and Barbuda national records on two relays and two individual records. Individually, he broke national records in the 50m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke. In the 50m breaststroke, he swam a 26.98 to finish 21st overall. He also swam a stellar time of 58.73 to break the national record in the 100m breaststroke, placing 24th overall.
He was also part of the national-record holding mixed 4x50 freestyle relay team and mixed 4x50 medley relay team.
