
No. 5 TCU dominates No. 8 Fresno State in Big 12 Matchup

Frogs win fifth-straight ranked matchup
FORT WORTH – The No. 5-ranked TCU equestrian team took down No. 8-ranked Fresno State, 15-5, Friday afternoon at Diamond Creek Ranch. TCU matched its longest winning streak in program history, collecting a fifth straight victory for the first time since the 2010-11 season. All five wins have come against top-10 ranked teams, giving TCU five straight wins over ranked opponents for the first time in school history.
TCU nabbed all four MOPs on Friday, giving the Frogs four MOPs in a meet for the fourth time this season.

"We know we have a special team, and we are thrilled to see their efforts rewarded," Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield said. "We will make a quick turnaround for a competitive Oklahoma State team and be ready for that new challenge."
THE RUNDOWN
TCU (8-5, 2-3 Big 12) opened the day with a 5-0 sweep in Fences for just the third time this season. Sophomore, Sydney Berube, led the charge in the event riding her way to an 88-85 win on Mabel and securing the MOP. Isabella Baxter carded an 83 on Elle to secure the first point in the event for the Frogs. Ashleigh Scully had the second highest score in Fences taking down her Fresno State opponent 85-79. Raegan Rast and Emy Lucibello followed suit outscoring their Bulldog opponents 84-78 and 83-69 respectively.
In Flat, TCU brought home the victory, 4-1. Sydnie Young led the charge carding an 85 on Casper and claiming her first career MOP. Berube had the high score in the event with an 87.5 on Lina. Wynne Weatherly and Scully secured points for the Frogs with an 81.5-71.5 and 77.5-61.5 win over their Bulldog opponents.
On the Western side, TCU came through with a 6-4 win overall. In Horsemanship, Giorgia Medows secured the MOP with a 76.5-73 win on Bob. Shea Graham continues to be dominated in the event as she took down her Fresno State opponent 74.5-71.5. Jessica McAllister was the third Horned Frog to secure a point with a two-point deficit over her Bulldog opponent, 74.5-72.5.
In the Reining arena, TCU defeated the Bulldogs, 3-2 with a large performance coming from Graham who claimed the MOP and outscored her opponent 72-70. Madyson Buchanan was the first Horned Frog to claim a point in the event as she rode her way to a victory on Alfie 69.5-68. Jessica McAllister claimed her second win of the day on Remi with a 70.5-64 win over her opponent. TCU came out victorious 15-5 overall in the Big 12 matchup and moves to 2-3 in conference play.

The Horned Frogs will be back in action Saturday, Feb. 26 where they will host No. 1 Oklahoma State on Senior Day at Diamond Creek Ranch at 10 a.m.
