The Horned Frogs had their largest win in eight years
FORT WORTH - A pair of 20-point performances led the No. 18 TCU men's basketball team to its largest win in the Jamie Dixon era, 103-57, over Central Arkansas Wednesday night at Schollmaier Arena.
Junior guard Mike Miles Jr. scored a game-high 21 points with the help of a career-high tying 11 made free throws on 13 attempts. Reigning Big 12 Player of the Week Emanuel Miller poured in 20 points and added a game-high 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.
The Horned Frogs (11-1) led the entire game except for a brief stint early on. TCU was running all over Central Arkansas (5-8) with a 40-0 advantage on fastbreak points and got the ball down low with a 58-20 advantage in the paint.
Without the help of Micah Peavy, who missed the game due to an ankle injury, the Horned Frogs got 12 points each from JaKobe Coles and Shahada Wells off the bench. Wells had six rebounds and five assists for a well-rounded game.
TCU begins Big 12 Conference play Saturday at 11 a.m. when it hosts Texas Tech. It will be shown on ESPNU.

- Mike Miles Jr. scored a game-high 21 points. It was the fifth time this season he led the Frogs in scoring and the third time he scored 20 or more points.
- Miles scored in double-figures for the 14th-straight game, dating back to last season.
- Miles shot TCU's first nine free throw attempts and tied a career-best with 11 on 13 attempts.
- Emanuel Miller scored 20 points. It was the second consecutive game Miller has scored 20 or more points after scoring 21 last week against Utah.
- Miller led the team with 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and 13th of his career.
