Women's Tennis Announce Spring Schedule

Frogs to Host 13 Home Matches
FORT WORTH -- TCU women's tennis head coach Lee Taylor Walker announced the spring schedule for the 2023 spring season highlighted by 13 home matches.
In the first action of the new year, TCU will host three interstate opponents in the TCU Invitational featuring Baylor, SMU and Tarleton State (Jan. 7- Jan. 9).
The Frogs will begin dual-match play with eight consecutive home matches. In the first dual meet of the season, the Horned Frogs will begin with UTSA (Jan. 20). Next, TCU will host the Lady Demons of Northwestern State (Jan. 21).
In February, the Frogs will host three SEC opponents this season. The first two are indoors, with Alabama (Feb. 4) and Ole Miss (Feb. 5) at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
The last three home matches of the Horned Frogs' eight-game homestead will be outdoors against San Francisco (Feb. 11), Abilene Christian (Feb. 12), and lastly, the Tigers of LSU will travel to Fort Worth.
The Frogs' first road match will be in Orlando against the No. 21 ranked team in the country in 2022, UCF in Orlando, Florida.
The ides of March begin with the Frogs back at home on Mar. 6 versus Richmond. TCU will finish nonconference on the road against UC Santa Barbara on Mar. 10.
Conference play follows with the Horned Frogs on the road against two 2022 ITA top-10 foes. The first in Stillwater versus Oklahoma State on Mar. 17 before traveling to Norman, Oklahoma to face the 2022 national runner-up Sooners on Mar. 19. The Frogs head back home to play three matches in three days. The first is against Kansas State Mar. 24 and the battle of DFW occurs Mar. 25 against SMU, then back to conference play with Kansas on Mar. 26.
To conclude the month of March, the Frogs will play host to the 2022 National Champion Longhorns on Mar. 31.
April, the Frogs finish their home match with Baylor on Senior day Apr. 2. TCU finishes the last three matches of the regular season in Lubbock, Texas against Texas Tech (Apr. 7) and Iowa State (Apr. 14). The Frogs complete the regular season with West Virginia on Apr. 16 in Morgantown.
Following the regular season, the Frogs will travel to Lawrence, Kansas for the Big 12 Championship from Apr. 20- Apr. 23.
