SAN MARCOS, Texas – Fresh off a bye-week, the TCU women's golf team will be back in action this Sunday and Monday, Oct. 23-24, competing at the Jim West Challenge at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, Texas. Sunday's play will consist of the first two rounds (36 holes) and the tournament will conclude with the final round (18 holes) on Monday.

Lois Lau | Junior | Noisy-sur-Ecole, France
2022-23 HIGHLIGHTS: Finished in a tie for fifth place at the Schooner Fall Classic, carding a three-round score of 7-under par 203 … she also tied the school's second-lowest single-round score with a final-round of 6-under par 64 … bettered her all-time career-low by two strokes … registered TCU's first eagle of the season, scoring a 3 on a par-5, in just her third hole of the event … shot under par in back-to-back rounds for the first time since last season's first two rounds at the Clover Cup … notched another top-15 finish as she came in a tie for 11th place at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup … carded scores of par or better in all three rounds at the Illini Invitational, finishing in a tie for 19th place with a score of 5-under par 211 … led the team with 12 total birdies in the 54-hole event.
Caitlyn Macnab | Sophomore | Johannesburg, South Africa
2022-23 HIGHLIGHTS: Won her first collegiate individual title in TCU's season-opener at the Schooner Fall Classic, carding a -10 under par 200 … she posted scores of 69, 67 and 64 in each round, respectively … her final round 6-under 64 is a new all-time career-low for the South African native and it is tied for the second-lowest score in school history … set the school record for 54-hole low score with her three-round score of 200 … totaled 16 birdies in the event … posted another top-15 finish, coming in a tie for 14th place at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup … was named the Big 12 Golfer of the Month for September … shot par or better in all three rounds at the Illini Invitational, finishing in a tied for 23rd place with a score of 4-under par 212 … tallied a total of nine birdies in the event.
Sofia Barroso Sá | Freshman | Belmont, Portugal
2022-23 HIGHLIGHTS: Incoming freshman for the Horned Frogs, made her collegiate debut at the Schooner Fall Classic … opened the tournament with a score of 1-over par 71, but closed with a 2-under par 68, on the way to a score of 1-over par 211 for the event … tallied eight birdies in the tournament and went onto finish in a tie for 27th place … in just her second collegiate tournament, she carded a 13-over par (77-72-80=229) to win the Barbara Nicklaus Cup individual title … became TCU's first freshman to win an event since Sabrina Iqbal in 2018 … registered her first collegiate eagle scoring a 3 on the par 5 second hole in round two … finished in a tie for 35th place at the Illini Invitational with a score of 1-under par 215 … set a new tournament best with nine birdies and one eagle in the event.
Sabrina Nguyen | Junior | Escondido, Calif.
2022-23 HIGHLIGHTS: Notched a 65th place finish at the Schooner Fall Classic, carding a three-round score of 9-over par 219 … matched her all-time career-low with a 1-under par 69 in the first round of the tournament … went onto collect seven birdies in the event, which included a single-round best four birdies in the first round … posted a top-40 finish at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup, helping guide Horned Frogs to a third-place finish … placed in a tie for 72nd place with a score of 7-over par 223 at the Illini Invitational.
Trinity King | Senior | Arlington, Texas
2022-23 HIGHLIGHTS: Finished in a tie for 33rd place at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup, carding a three-round score of 40-over par 256 … recorded three birdies in the tournament, including a single-round best two birdies in the second round … has played in 54 rounds in her career, averaging 75.28 stokes per round … has tallied 16 rounds at par or better, which includes a total of five rounds with scores in the 60's.

The first two rounds (36 holes) will be played on Sunday, while Monday will consist of the final round (18 holes). There will be a shotgun start on both days at 8:30 a.m.
