The Horned Frogs sweep Tulsa to advance into Indoor Nationals
FORT WORTH – No. 4 TCU men's tennis (5-1) secured its spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships by defeating Tulsa, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon inside the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. TCU has qualified for Indoor Nationals for the fourth consecutive season and the 19th time in program history. The tournament will be held February 18-21 in Seattle, Wash.
"Very proud of this team for coming out here and getting the win today," head coach David Roditi said. "It was another great atmosphere to play in. Our fans have been great this year, coming out and supporting us this weekend especially. We're very grateful. Our guys are going to Seattle. They did a great job today. Tulsa is always such strong competition, especially in doubles. They are a well-coached program and wins over them don't come easy. We came out with great energy today in doubles and then took care of business in singles. It was a great weekend of college tennis. We have another huge match coming up next Sunday, at home, against Ole Miss. We're looking forward to playing in this great atmosphere again. Go Frogs!"
