
TCU Leads Iowa State After Day One

Four Frogs pick up individual wins
AMES, Iowa – The TCU women's swimming & diving team leads Iowa State 91-76 after the first day of competition behind several key wins by the Horned Frogs.
TCU kicked off the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay. The squad of Rylee Moore, Sheridan Schreiber, Jeanne Dahmen and Olivia Rhodes swam a first-place time of
Lisa Johnson kept the momentum going for TCU as she won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:22.17. Abigail Meder finished second with a time of 10:31.99.
Winning the third race for the Frogs was Serena Gould as her time of 1:52.75 was good for first in the 200 freestyle. Rounding out the individual wins for TCU in the pool was Rhodes as she won her second event of the day with a time of 23.79 in the 50 freestyle.
Closing out the meet with a win, the 400 freestyle relay team of Gould, Lucia Simovicova, Marlene Hirschberg and Rhodes clocked a first-place time of 3:28.30.
TCU saw immense success on the boards as well. Anna Kwong picked up the win with a season-best score of 315.90 on 3-meter as she earned her first NCAA Zone cut of the season in the event. Connie Deighton placed second with a Zone-cut score of 302.45 and Sydney Jorgensen notched a Zone cut as well with a score of 291.40 as she placed fourth overall.
