Frogs return to action in meet against Cyclones
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's swimming & diving team returns to action against Iowa State on Jan. 14-15 in Ames, Iowa. The first night of competition will begin at 6 p.m. with the second day starting at 10 a.m.

Against the Cyclones
Since joining the Big 12, TCU is 1-4-1 against Iowa State in dual meets. Last season, the women's team fell in a heartbreaker by a score of 161-135. The Cyclones are currently 5-1 on the season with their last win being a 191-79 win over Iowa.
Last Time Out
The Horned Frogs' diving team saw immense success at the Big Al Invitational. Faith Harms-Zacharias notched a fourth-place finish on 3-meter with a score of 277.95 and Anna Kwong finished fifth on 1-meter with an NCAA Zone cut score of 267.05 as she earned her first Big 12 Diver of the Week award.
The women's swim team is back in the pool for the first time since the Art Adamson Invitational Nov. 17-19. At that meet, the Frogs broke two relay school records and two individual school records.
In the 400 medley relay, Rylee Moore, Sheridan Schreiber, Ashleen O'Brien and Olivia Rhodes swam a school-record time of 3:39.14. Adding to the historic meet for the Frogs, Moore, Rhodes, O'Brien and Claire Chahbandour broke the 200 medley relay school record with a time of 1:40.02.
Individually, Chahbandour broke the school record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.47 and Moore notched a school record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 53.71.
NCAA Cuts
So far this season, Moore, Chahbandour and Schreiber all recorded NCAA B cuts. Moore's record-breaking time of 53.71 in the 100 backstroke earned herself her fourth B cut of the season in the event. Chahbandour's school record time of 1:01.47 gave her the first B cut of the season in the event for her and Schreiber also got a B cut in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.59.
Big 12 Awards
Adding to Kwong's first Big 12 Diver of the Week award, Rhodes and Moore have also picked up Big 12 weekly awards. Moore earned Newcomer of the Week (Nov. 3, Nov. 24) and Rhodes garnered Newcomer of the Week on Oct. 6.
