Men's team competes next weekend at Texas
AMES, Iowa – The TCU women's swimming & diving team lost a close contest to Iowa State by a score of 173-161.
Highlighting the second day of the meet was Serena Gould as she won the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.45.
Also picking up a win was the 200 freestyle relay team. The squad of Olivia Rhodes, Cassidy Coughlin, Gould and Lucia Simovicova earned first with a time of 1:35.59.
Picking up her second individual win of the weekend was Anna Kwong as she took first on 1-meter with a Zone-cut score of 296.50. She finished the weekend winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter events.
Connie Deighton placed second overall on 1-meter and earned a Zone cut with a score of 283.65. Sydney Jorgensen also notched a Zone cut on 1-meter with a score of 265.45.
Marlene Hirschberg came in second overall in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.15 and Rylee Moore placed second in the 100 butterfly with her time of 57.43.
Lisa Johnson's time of 5:06.28 was good for second overall in the 500 freestyle and Olivia Rhodes finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.46.
