FORT WORTH – Behind both teams placing third at the Big 12 Championships, the TCU men's and women's swimming & diving teams are looking for a strong start to the 2021-22 season as the Horned Frogs take on Incarnate Word on Sept. 24 at home. The women will compete at 2 p.m. with the men's meet starting at 6 p.m.
The two teams last squared off in 2019 when both teams defeated the Cardinals. The men's program won 159-135 while the women's team took the 166-134 victory. In the win, Izzy Ashdown broke the school record in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives and Connie Deighton notched her first NCAA qualifying scores of the season on both boards.
Noah Cumby and Janis Silins won two events each the last time TCU swam against the Cardinals, with Cumby winning the 100 and 200 free, and Silins taking first in both the 100 and 200 breast.
