
TCU Set to Host Tarleton in Preseason Scrimmage

Frogs and Texans meet for the first time in program history
FORT WORTH – The No. 6-ranked TCU equestrian team is set to host Tarleton in an exhibition meet this Friday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. at Diamond Creek Ranch (nut free facility).

TCU and Tarleton will be facing off for the first time in program history.
SCOUTING THE FROGS
The Horned Frogs bring a wide mix of experience into Friday's scrimmage, which includes boasting a line-up made of six freshmen.
TCU's Fences line-up will include Olivia Parr, Zoe Schiefer and Brenna Magness, along with freshmen AnnaKate Long and Laurel Smith. This will mark the first collegiate action for all five student-athletes. The Flat slate will have three returners in Niki Barnes, Jordan Guilmart and Sydney Berube. Smith will also take part in Flat.
Alexis Cook and Kaitlyn Smith will be among the returnees taking part in Horsemanship on Friday, along with freshmen Sidney Dunham and Elizabeth West.
TCU has scheduled a variety of experience in Reining with Kaitlyn Baker leading the group into action as she gets set to start her junior campaign. Jessica McAlister and Skylar Smith will follow, while freshman Jenna Welker competes as a Frog for the first time in her career.
