
Ugen Qualifies for Olympics

Four Former TCU Student-Athletes have made Olympic Teams
FORT WORTH - TCU Alumna, Lorraine Ugen '14, was recently named to Team Great Britain for the 2021 Olympics.
During her time at TCU, Ugen was a two-time NCAA national champion, five-time All-American and holds the No. 2 all-time school mark for women's long jump.
This will be Ugen's second Olympic appearance, her first was in 2016 at the Rio games where she finished 11th in the long jump while representing her home country.
Ugen is currently Britain's No. 1 ranked long jumper and holds the national record with a mark of 6.97m.
Ugen is the third former TCU student-athlete to make an Olympic team, joining Ronnie Baker and Derrick Mokaleng from track and field and Sanna Nuutinen from women's golf.
