Frogs head to 27-team tournament at Stanford
FORT WORTH – For the first time in six seasons, TCU's men's golf team will compete at The Goodwin, held March 25-27, at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif.
TCU will go with the lineup of sophomore Mateo Fernández de Oliveira, sophomore Jacob Skov Olesen, sophomore Gustav Frimodt, senior Spencer Ball and sophomore Chris Berzina. They will play 18 holes each day starting on Thursday at 2:10 p.m. CT and ending on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
TCU finished seventh at the George Hannon Collegiate on March 16 at the UT Golf Club in Austin. Freshman Filippo Celli was tied for 20th with a score of 3-over 216.
NOTES
- TCU last played at The Goodwin in 2015. The Frogs finished fourth and Julien Brun was ninth. TCU's Paul Barjon won the event in 2013.
- Mateo Fernández de Oliveira is ranked 81st in the latest World Amateur Golf Rankings. He leads the Frogs with an average score of 72.83.
- Earlier this season, TCU defeated then-No. 19-ranked SMU in match play, 4.5-3.5.
- TCU was saddened in November with the sudden passing of longtime volunteer assistant Dana Bellenger. In December, TCU announced the creation of the Dana Bellenger Endowed Scholarship for Men's Golf. Bellenger's initials "DB" will be visible on TCU's hat throughout the season.
- Bill Montigel is in his 41st season at TCU and his 34th season as the head coach of TCU men's golf. Associate Head Coach Adrien Mork is in his fourth season at TCU.
