Set 2 (TAR, 25-19): TCU couldn't manage to sideout with regularity in the second set, giving up two 4-0 runs in the middle portion of the set to fall behind and allow Tarleton to tie the match. Myers delivered her second perfect set in as many matches, finishing with five kills on five swings to lead the offense, along with five from Clark. Nichols added on 14 assists and Georgiades led with four digs.
Set 3 (TCU, 25-18): The Frogs' service game made the difference in the third set as Adams and Ashley Wehrstein posted five combined aces. Adams and Clark led the team with five kills each in the third set, Nichols posted 13 assists and Georgiades delivered six digs to lead the team.
Set 4 (TAR, 25-23): Long rallies forced too many errors and Tarleton managed to force a fifth set. Kate Georgiades led a stout defensive effort from the Frogs. TCU held the Texans to just 10 kills on .159 hitting with 28 digs, including 11 from Georgiades, four from Bella Swafford and three each from Raiola, Clark and Nichols. Raiola and Clark led the offense with six kills each. The Horned Frogs racked up 20 kills, but their aggressiveness came back to bite them in the end, allowing 14 points from errors.
Set 5 (TAR, 15-13): Myers and Clark were the focal points in the fifth set. Myers led the way with five kills while Clark posted a perfect four kills on four swings. Ashley Wehrstein was strong in the back row, leading the Frogs with three digs and five errorless serve receptions but service errors kept Tarleton in the match and an attack error at 13-13 gave the Texans a match point, where their top offensive performer polished off the win with a kill.
