Frogs to take on Bears in last Fall Meet
FORT WORTH – The No. 9-ranked TCU equestrian team is set for a Big 12 matchup against No. 3-ranked Baylor this Friday, Nov. 5, at Diamond Creek Ranch (nut free facility) at 10 a.m. This will be the final meet for the Horned Frogs of the Fall season.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Baylor leads the all-time series 22-11 over TCU. The Frogs are 6-5 when facing the Bears at home. The last time the two programs faced off was March 11 2021 where TCU took down Baylor 12-7 in Fort Worth.
SCOUTING THE FROGS
TCU (3-4, 0-2 BIG 12) is coming off a weekend on the road where they split meets in South Dakota, beating UMN Crookston 15-1 and falling to South Dakota State in the raw score tiebreaker, 1205-1169.5. The Frogs brought home seven MOPs, four coming from the Jumping Seat and three coming from the Western Seat.
The Western Seat had two honorees this week as Jessica McAllister was named both October NCEA and Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the Month and Mattie Dukes was named Big 12 Co-Reining Rider of the Month. McAllister is undefeated on the season in Horsemanship and has three MOPs under her belt. Dukes is 5-2 and has two MOPs in Reining. Giorgia Medows and Maddy Buchanan have also continued to perform for the Frogs as they both picked up an MOP last week in Reining.
The Jumping Seat had a big week against SDSU and UMN Crookston as they brought home a total of four MOPs. Ashleigh Scully led the charge as she went 4-0 over the course of the two meets in both Fences and Flat earning her MOP in Flat against SDSU with a 76.5. Raegan Rast finished 2-0 in Fences, Wynne Weatherly 1-0 in Flat and Isabella Baxter 1-3 earning her MOP against UMN Crookston with an 86 in Fences.

Baylor (2-1, 0-1 BIG 12) are coming off a three-week bye as the last time they competed was Oct. 15 where they beat No. 5 Texas A&M 12-7. The Bears jumped No. 8 to No. 3 in the NCEA weekly poll on Wednesday Nov. 3.
The Bears swept all four events for the sixth time in the last three seasons against the Aggies as they won 3-2 in Fences, 3-2 in Flat, 3-2 in Horsemanship and 3-1 in Reining. Baylor picked up three MOP honors from Savannah Hemby in Flat, Shelby Clausen in Reining and Gabrielle Marty in Horsemanship.
