• TCU Interim Head Coach Jerry Kill is a native of Cheney, Kan., and a 1983 graduate of Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan.
• Kill joined the Horned Frogs in February 2020 as special assistant to the head coach in charge of offense.
• Before arriving at TCU, Kill served as special assistant to the head coach at Virginia Tech in 2019.
• Among his many coaching accolades, Kill was the consensus 2014 Big Ten Coach of the Year after leading Minnesota to the Citrus Bowl for its first New Year's Day game since 1962. He was head coach of the Golden Gophers from 2011-15.
• While at Southern Illinois (2001-07), he was the FCS Eddie Robison National Coach of the Year in 2004 as well as the 2007 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year. He led the Salukis to five straight NCAA playoff appearances. He then served as head coach at Northern Illinois from 2008-10, earning the Grant Teaff FCA Coach of the Year Award in 2010 when he guided the Huskies to a 10-3 record and berth in the Mid-American Conference Championship Game.

• Since beginning Big 12 play in 2012, TCU is 8-1 versus Kansas.
• TCU holds a 24-9-4 edge over the Jayhawks in a series that began with a 41-6 Horned Frogs' win in Fort Worth in 1942.
• TCU is 11-2-2 versus the Jayhawks in Fort Worth, 11-7 in Lawrence and 2-0-2 in the four games (1944-47) played in Kansas City.
• A 20-6 TCU victory at Kansas in 2012 marked the Horned Frogs' inaugural Big 12 game.

• Making his first career start, quarterback Chandler Morris totaled 531 yards of offense (461 passing, 70 rushing) in TCU's 30-28 win over No. 12 Baylor on Nov. 6.
• The 531 yards rank second in TCU history. The 461 yards passing were fourth-most by a Horned Frog and third all-time in the Big 12 for a first career start.
• TCU is the only school in the nation with two players averaging over 7.0 yards per carry (min. 70 attempts) in Kendre Miller (7.20) and Zach Evans (7.04).
• Graduate student Emari Demarcado rushed for a career-high 90 yards on 14 carries, including a 13-yard touchdown, at Oklahoma State.
• Quentin Johnston has topped 100 yards receiving in three of the last five games.

• Over the last seven seasons, TCU has the Big 12's third-best conference record (40-30) and overall mark (62-36).
• TCU is one of just seven programs nationally to finish with an Associated Press Top-10 final ranking in at least three of the last seven seasons (2014, 2015, 2017). The others are Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Penn State.

• TCU was the practice site for three weeks last month for the New Orleans Saints, who were displaced due to Hurricane Ida.
• The Saints were the third NFL team in the last 11 years to practice at TCU. The Dallas Cowboys have utilized the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility, while TCU was the host practice site for the Pittsburgh Steelers during Super Bowl XLV in Arlington.

• Since it began Big 12 play in 2012, TCU has had over $400 million in donor-funded athletics facilities upgrades. The most recent project was the $113 million Legends Club & Suites which opened in Fall 2020 on the east side of Amon G. Carter Stadium.
