Frogs kick off indoor season at Reville Invitational on Dec. 4.

FORT WORTH – TCU track & field has announced its 2021-22 indoor and outdoor track & field schedules.
The Frogs kick off the indoor season at the Reville Invitational at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas on Dec. 4. Following Winter Break, TCU will head back to College Station for the Aggie Invitational on Jan. 22.
TCU travels to Lubbock, Texas the following weekend to compete at the Texas Tech Invitational for its first two-day meet of the season. On Feb. 4-5, the Frogs head to Albuquerque, N.M. for the Lobo Invitational.
The final regular season meet of the indoor season finds TCU traveling to Iowa State for the Iowa State Classic on Feb. 12-13.
The Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship will be Feb. 25-26 in Ames, Iowa. TCU has a week off before heading to the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala. on March 11-12.
The 2020-21 indoor season saw immense success for the Frogs. Chengetayi (Du) Mapaya won his second Big 12 Indoor Triple Jump Championship while Tinotenda Matiyenga and TCU's 4x400 relay team picked up silver medals.
At the 2021 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, Mapaya finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 16.95m / 55-7.5. Tinotenda Matiyenga and Robert Gregory Jr. both collected second-team All-America honors after placing ninth and 12th overall in the 200m, respectively.
TCU begins the outdoor season by hosting the annual TCU Invitational on March 19 at the Lowdon Track Complex. The following weekend, the Frogs compete at the Texas Relays from March 24-26 in Austin, Texas.
The Frogs head to Tucsan, Ariz. for the Jim Click Shootout on April 9. TCU splits up then with members of the team going to the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational on April 15-16 in Gainesville, Fla. and other members of the team traveling to the Mt. SAC Relays April 13-16 in Walnut, Calif.
TCU will then travel to Baylor for the Michael Johnson Classic on April 22-23 in Waco, Texas.
With the last regular season meet of the outdoor season, TCU will visit Austin once again for the Texas Invitational on April 29-30.
The Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship is slated for May 12-15 in Lubbock, Texas with the NCAA West Preliminaries set for May 26-28 in Fayetteville, Ark.
Oregon will host the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 8-11 in Eugene, Ore.
Mapaya placed third overall at the NCAA Outdoor Championships last season with a mark of 16.74m (54-11.25). Gregory Jr. garnered First Team All-American honors as he finished eighth overall in the 200m.
Matiyenga collected two Second Team All-America honors between the 4x100 relay and the 200m (12th / 20.68) and honorable mention in the 100m (18th / 10.40). The 4x100 relay team of Matiyenga, Gregory Jr., TJ Brock and Kundai Maguranyanga placed 11th overall and earned Second Team All-America honors.
