Alastair Gray receives third-career first team nod
FORT WORTH -- TCU men's tennis placed four student-athletes on the academic All-Big 12 tennis teams, the conference office announced.
Junior Alastair Gray was honored with his third-career first team accolade. He is joined on the first team by junior Max Kurzban and sophomore Sander Jong. It is their first academic award through the conference. Junior Juan Martin was awarded with academic All-Big 12 second team honors for the first time in his career after missing the regular season due to injury.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence.
