FORT WORTH -- TCU women's tennis prepares to defend the home courts as they take a break from Big 12 play for a mid-week matchup against UTRGV on Wednesday, March 11 at 11 a.m. The Horned Frogs are 3-0 this season in home, non-conference matches.

TCU is coming off a pair of road losses this weekend to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. The weekend featured a pair of strong performances by Marie Norris and the best win of Stevie Kennedy's career.
Norris claimed her fifth win of the season on Friday against Oklahoma. She followed that with an extremely entertaining match against No. 23 Thamchaiwat of Oklahoma State. Norris will hope to continue her run of form into this week.
Kennedy picked up the best win of her career against Oklahoma State, taking down No. 63 Miyamuto in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. It was her second ranked win of 2020 and brings her singles record this spring to 4-2.
SCOUTING THE VAQUEROS
UTRGV enters play with a 1-10 record. The Vaqueros are winless in matches against Division 1 programs with the lone win coming against Laredo Community College on Feb. 25. This will be the final non-conference match on their schedule before starting WAC play on March 21.
