FORT WORTH -- TCU men's tennis (3-1) will complete its early season road trip against Virginia (4-3) on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. (CT). This is the third road match of the season for the Horned Frogs, ranked No. 11 in the latest ITA poll.

FROG FOCUS
TCU is hoping to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season at No. 13 Michigan on Saturday afternoon. The Horned Frogs enter the match with four student-athletes ranked in the ITA singles poll, a Big 12-best. Junior Alastair Gray (55), freshman Jacob Fearnley (74) and sophomore Luc Fomba (125) each held their place in the rankings while freshman Tadeas Paroulek (122) earned his first career ranking.
 
TCU enters play with an impressive 8-1 record in doubles matches this duel season. The pairings of Sander Jong/Tadeas Paroulek and Bertus Kruger/Fomba each hold 3-0 records.
 
In singles play, freshman Tomas Jirousek leads the team with a perfect 3-0 record. He has won all six sets he's played in this season. Fomba also boasts a stellar record in singles action, 2-0.
 
SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS
Virginia dropped out of the team rankings two weeks ago when the Cavaliers failed to qualify for Indoor Nationals in the ITA Weekend Kickoff with a 4-1 loss to No. 17 NC State. They are coming off of a 1-1 weekend in which they took down Boston College, 6-1, before falling to UCF, 1-6.
