TCU Men’s Tennis closes the fall season this weekend
FORT WORTH – TCU men's tennis will conclude its 2020 fall season by participating in the Big 6 Fall Invitational this weekend. The tournament will take place at the Richland Tennis Center in North Richland Hills, Texas and will be comprised of the six Big 12 men's tennis teams in both a singles and doubles tournament.
The matches will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday morning and run through Sunday afternoon.
Two Horned Frogs will participate in the singles main draw. Luc Fomba was awarded the No. 2 seed in the tournament while Jake Fearnley was given the No. 4 seed. They will each compete in the 16-player draw for a chance to finish their fall campaigns with a tournament title over conference competition.
In doubles play, TCU will send one pairing into the eight-pairing main draw. Fomba and Max Kurzban will play a duo from Texas Tech on Friday for a chance to advance into the semifinals.
This will also be the 2020 debut for Sander Jong. Jong will be playing in the doubles competition with Juan Martin, in the secondary draw.
