TCU resumes its season at Kansas State
FORT WORTH – TCU volleyball will play its seventh match of the 2020 season after a 28-day hiatus. The Horned Frogs last played a match on Oct. 16 against West Virginia before having their last three weekends postponed. TCU will look to bring the energy after such a lengthy mid-season break when they match up with Kansas State for a two-match series this weekend inside Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kan.

Series Quick Hits
- Kansas State leads the all-time series, 10-6. All 16 matches between the schools have come while TCU was a member of the Big 12.
- This will be TCU's first matches since Oct. 16, a 28-day layoff. The Horned Frogs are 15-10 when playing a match with at least 28-days off in between. Additionally, TCU is 15-10 in season openers dating back to its inaugural season in 1996.
- The Horned Frogs are looking for their first victory over a ranked opponent since Sept. 17, 2016 - No. 8 North Carolina - and the first road victory over a Top-15 opponent in program history.
- Berklie Baker set her career high with 23 digs against Kansas State last season, one of three 20+ dig matches in her career.
- Audrey Nalls had her best performance from behind the service line in the last meeting between K-State and TCU, finishing with a career-best five aces, tied for the most by a single athlete against KSU in program history. She also set a career-high with 15 digs.
- Afedo Manyang enjoyed her first 10+ kill match last season against K-State, delivering 11 kills against the Wildcats last November. She did so on .455 hitting, the highest hitting percentage by a Horned Frog in a 5-set match against K-State in program history
- TCU set a program record with 13 aces in its last match against Kansas State (Nov. 2, 2019), it was the most aces in a match against K-State in program history.
- Senior Dani Dennison holds the program record for the most digs in a single match against K-State – 25 – set back in 2017.
Dig it Again Dan
- Dennison has been one of the most dependable players on the roster throughout her career.
- She has played in all 95 of TCU's matches over her college career, starting a majority at libero.
- Dennison has reached 1,160 digs, the seventh most in program history and just 13 shy of tying head coach Jill Kramer's career total of 1,173.
- She leads the conference and is 12th in the country with 4.79 digs/set
- Her 4.79 digs/set is on pace for the fourth best average in program history.
- The Huntington Beach product has collected 5.28 digs/set over her last four matches.
- She currently leads the team with 115 digs through six matches. Dennison is on track to become the first player in program history to lead TCU in digs three times over the course of her career.

Scouting the Opponent: Kansas State
- Kansas State emerged as one of the stronger teams in the Big 12 this season, surging to an 8-4 record and a No. 10 ranking in the AVCA Top-15 Coaches Poll.
- The Wildcats are third in the conference, behind Baylor and Texas, in many statistical categories, including hitting percentage, assists and digs while they are second in aces per set, with 1.35.
- Freshman Aliyah Carter has been making her case for Big 12 Freshman of the Year as she leads the team in kills/set (3.70) and points/set (4.01). She is third in the conference in kills and fifth in points during her freshman campaign.
- Fellow freshman Jayden Nembhard is also having a strong season, totaling 3.21 kills/set. She is the younger sister of TCU Men's Basketball player, RJ Nembhard.
- K-State has won five of its last six matches against Texas Tech, Kansas and Oklahoma. The Wildcats have played seven matches since the last TCU match was played.
