TCU Men’s Tennis sends five to the Texas Regional Championships this weekend
FORT WORTH – TCU men's tennis will play in its second competition of the fall this weekend, the ITA Regional Championships, hosted by Baylor, in Waco, Texas. The tournament will take place this weekend, Oct. 23-26 at the Waco Regional Tennis Center.
TCU is bringing five student-athletes to the tournament, all of which enter the weekend with winning momentum. TCU won all seven of its matches (two doubles and five singles) last Sunday (Oct. 18) at the TCU Invitational on the purple courts.
Jake Fearnley and Luc Fomba each earned a seed in the top-flight of singles competition. Fearnley will play as the No. 3 seed while Fomba earned the No. 6 position.
In all, four Horned Frogs will compete in the top-flight of singles, with Juan Martín and Max Kurzban making the field of 32. Eduardo Roldan will play as the fifth seeded competitor in the second flight.
Competition is set to begin on Friday morning, with the champions crowned on Monday.
