THE GAME
• The TCU Horned Frogs (15-4, 6-2) wraps up the first half of Big 12 play hosting the Kansas State Wildcats (9-9, 3-4) this Saturday, Feb. 1, in Fort Worth.
• Tip-off between the Horned Frogs and Wildcats is set for 1 p.m. at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena.
• Saturday's contest will be televised live on Fox Sports Southwest.
• The Horned Frogs and Wildcats are meeting for just the 16th time overall and for the 15th time since TCU became a member of the Big 12 Conference.
• The TCU women's basketball team, along with the athletics department, will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day, in addition to Diversity & Inclusion Day.
• Free t-shirts will be handed out to the first 200 dads and daughters that attend the game.
FROG FAST BREAKS
• TCU moved to 6-2 overall and 4-0 on the road in Big 12 play following its 72-68 win at Oklahoma State on Wednesday.
• The Horned Frogs are off to its best eight-game start in conference play since joining the league, and its best start in conference play overall since starting out 6-2 in the Mountain West Conference back in 2010-11.
• TCU's best start to Big 12 play through the first eight games was a 5-3 mark registered in the 2017-18 season.
• TCU's 4-0 conference record on the road is the best mark ever through four road games as a member of the Big 12 and its best start since opening 4-0 on the road back in 2000-01 when the Horned Frogs were a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
• Senior Jayde Woods registered a new career-high with 22 points at Oklahoma State on Wednesday. She scored 20+ points for just the second time in her career, bettering her previous career-high of 20 points that she scored in the season-opener against Robert Morris.
• Junior Lauren Heard poured in 25 points against the Cowgirls on Wednesday, notching at least 25 points in a game for the fifth time this season.

SCOUTING KANSAS STATE
• Kansas State heads into Fort Worth with an overall record of 9-9 and a mark of 3-4 in Big 12 play.
• The Wildcats have won two-straight, having defeated both Oklahoma (92-74) and Kansas (69-61) in the past week.
• K-State is 3-3 away from home overall and 2-1 in Big 12 road games.
• The Wildcats are among the leaders in both the Big 12 and the nation in rebounding. K-State ranks third in the league and 15th in the nation with 43.06 rebounds per game, while also ranking second in the Big 12 and 11th overall in the nation with 30.3 defensive rebounds per game.
• Peyton Williams is second in the Big 12 with 11.3 rebounds per game, while teammate Ayoka Lee follows right behind her, ranking third in the league with 10.9 boards per game.
• Both players lead the Wildcats in scoring as well, with Williams pouring in 15.8 points per game and Lee notching 15.5 points per night.

• TCU earned its fourth straight Big 12 road win with a 72-68 victory at Oklahoma State on Wednesday.
• In a game that totaled 11 ties and 20 different lead changes, TCU managed to pull away midway through the fourth quarter and fought off a Cowgirls rally to earn the win.
• TCU got 20-point efforts from both Lauren Heard (25) and Jayde Woods (22), marking the first time the Horned Frogs have had a pair of 20-point scorers in the same game since the Texas A&M game earlier this season.
• The Horned Frogs attempted just five total free throws though the first three quarters - with all five attempts coming in the first quarter - but managed to drain 15-of-19 attempts in the fourth quarter alone.
