TCU Completes Michigan Invite Day 2

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- TCU women's tennis faced stiff competition in Day 2 of the Michigan Invite Saturday morning in Ann Arbour, Mich. The day contained three singles matches against players from the No. 25-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, followed by a doubles match against a pairing from No. 22 Tennessee.
The Horned Frogs were in the fight throughout singles play, winning at least four games in every completed set. Senior Marie Norris was locked in a battle, claiming the opening set before a furious comeback from Hurley (Ohio State) forced a deciding third. Her third set fortunes would not carry over from the day before however and Norris dropped her first singles match of the new year: 3-6, 7-5, 4-6.
Norris and junior Stevie Kennedy got out of the gates strong in doubles play but didn't get the bounces late, finishing off the day for TCU.
