FORT WORTH, Texas – Riding an eight-match winning streak, the No. 10 TCU men's tennis team will continue the spring season by welcoming No. 35 Arizona State on Sunday, March 24 at 1 p.m., at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

TCU Notables
TCU moved up to No. 10 in the recent Oracle/ITA poll after getting four wins over the past two weeks and moving its win streak to eight. The Frogs escaped Knoxville with a 4-0 sweep of then-No. 22 Tennessee before getting a 6-1 victory over Pepperdine, a 6-0 win over LMU and a 4-1 topping of No. 12 Columbia. The top-10 ranking means that TCU has been ranked inside the top 10 of the country at least once every season for the last five years.
Senior Alex Rybakov stayed at No. 7 in the Oracle/ITA singles poll, while Alastair Gray moved up one spot to No. 25 and Bertus Kruger now sits at No. 115. Rybakov is 17-1 on the year and riding a six-match winning streak with an 9-1 mark against ranked opponents. Gray is also on a six-match winning streak and boasts a 13-2 mark on the year while Kruger leads the lead with 20 wins. Kruger and Reese Stalder have won their last seven straight doubles matches and moved up 12 spots in the doubles poll to No. 6. Gray and Rybakov are also riding a five-match winning streak in doubles while freshmen Luc Fomba and Sander Jong have won three of their last four doubles matches.
Scouting the Sun Devils
Arizona State is capping off its trip to Texas with the match at TCU but started at Baylor with a 4-0 sweep of Incarnate Word in a neutral match before dropping a 5-2 decision to the Bears on Friday. No. 55 Nathan Ponwith leads the Sun Devils in the singles poll and has nine wins on the year with five of them over ranked opponents. Ponwith also pairs up with Dominik Kellovsky for a No. 18 doubles ranking with the duo getting seven wins on the year with six of them coming at the top spot. Tim Ruehl and Andrea Bolla also boast a doubles ranking of No. 56 as the pair also have seven wins on the year and two over ranked opponents.
