THE GAME
• The TCU Horned Frogs (9-2, 0-0) will open up Big 12 play on the road this Friday, Jan. 3, taking on the No. 25-ranked Texas Longhorns (8-4, 0-0) in Austin.
• Tip-off between the Horned Frogs and Longhorns is set for 6 p.m. inside the Frank Erwin Center.
• TCU and Texas will meet for the 47th time overall and for the 17th time since the Horned Frogs joined the Big 12 Conference.
• TCU is opening Big 12 play on the road for just the fourth time since joining the league in 2012-13.
• The Horned Frogs are 1-2 in Big 12 openers on the road and 2-5 in conference openers overall.

• TCU is coming of an 82-70 road loss at Middle Tennessee this past Sunday.
• Despite the loss, Lauren Heard and Yummy Morris both scored 16 points each to lead the team in scoring.
• For Morris, it was a new career-high in scoring for the sophomore out of North Little Rock, Ark. - surpassing her previous high of 13 points.
• TCU finished non-conference play going 9-2 overall, with a 7-0 record at home and 2-2 mark on the road.

• Texas went 6-1 at home, 1-2 on the road and 1-1 in neutral site games during non-conference play.
• Charli Collier leads a trio of Longhorns averaging double-digit scoring averages, with 15.0 points per game. She is followed by Joyner Holmes (14.8) and Sug Sutton (10.3).
• Collier also leads the team with 11.4 rebounds per game to average a double-double on the season.
• Collier ranks third in the nation with nine double-doubles on the year, while Holmes ranks fifth eight double-doubles.
