Horned Frogs make fourth postseason appearance in last five years.
FORT WORTH -- TCU volleyball will play Miami (OH) on Thursday, Dec. 5 in the opening round of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC). First serve is set for 3:30 p.m. (CT), in Bowling Green, Ohio.

-TCU is competing in the NIVC for the second time in program history. The only other appearance came in 2017, when the Horned Frogs reached the semifinals.
-Katie Clark was named All-Big 12 second team while Julia Adams was named to the All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
- The Horned Frogs enter play having dropped their last four matches, two against the top two seeds in the NCAA tournament (Baylor and Texas) and the others coming against Oklahoma and Texas Tech.

-It was the third most kills she's posted in a single match in her career.
-Her 27 kills stands as the second most in a Big 12 match this season.
-She also delivered 14 digs in the same match, her seventh 10+ dig match this season.
-McCall earned her second double-double of the season. She has 16 in her two seasons as a Horned Frog.
-She posted her second career 20/20 match at WVU (20 kills and 21 digs).
-Over her last six matches, McCall has tallied 92 kills on .227 hitting while also contributing 2.96 digs/set and 0.43 blocks/set over that span.

-Clark has earned double-digit kills in six matches in the middle and 12 matches overall this season, a career-best.
-The Arlington native leads the team with 165 kills in conference play, including a career-high 21 at Texas Tech.

Scouting The Opponent: Miami
-Miami earned an automatic qualifying position in the NIVC after finishing the regular season with the best finish in the MAC. The Redhawks failed to win the conference tournament, falling to eventual conference champions Ball State in the opening round.
-The Redhawks finished the season 17-11 (12-4 MAC), the best conference record in the MAC.
-They are 2-3 this season against Power 5 opponents, defeating Virginia Tech and Ohio State, while sustaining losses to Northwestern, Tennessee and North Carolina.
-Miami is 9-4 in three-set matches and 8-7 in 4+ set matches.
-They are led by senior middle blocker Margaret Payne. Payne leads the team in kills (282) on a team-best .350 hitting percentage with 99 blocks, also a team best. She is one of three hitters to accumulate 200+ kills this season for the Redhawks, also Gaby Harper and Avarie Powell.
